A Proud Supporter of the National Health Services Corps

At Crisis Preparation and Recovery (CPR), our focus has always been to serve others by providing behavioral health services to the community.  We are excited to announce our support of the National Health Services Corps, a Federal Government Program that helps bring healthcare to those with limited access to care.  The NHSC has over 9,500 providers serving those with limited access to care.  The NHSC naturally aligns with CPR’s mission to be of service to others and the community, and we look forward to serving alongside this program.

CPR and Mesa Fire and Medical Behavioral Health Response

CPR has joined with Mesa Fire/Medical department in a program to provide a licensed master’s level behavioral health clinician on a MFMD vehicle. The 2 person crew ( Captain/Paramedic and a CPR licensed counselor) respond to 9-1-1 psychiatric and substance abuse calls. The goals are: to keep engine companies in services for higher level calls, reduce the number of unnecessary emergency department visits, reduce costs in transportation and hospital charges, and (most importantly) get the individual to the appropriate level of care in an expedient manner.

“I am very grateful for the assistance I receive at CPR and the encouragement I receive in becoming a more self-sufficient me.”
